Turvey Ye Three Fyshes Inn

The Inn sign displays three fish, one laying from left to right in the centre of the board and the other two fish form a cross overlaying the central horizontal fish. The entrance to the Inn is open at ground level and has a wooden bench placed between the wooden pier and the wooden pier attached to the building, facing into the road. On the first floor side of the entrance, facing west, a legend reads, “Ye Three Fyshes Inn, PHIPPS, Northampton – Ales & Stout Wines & Spirits Free House. The legend on the chimney of the gable end facing west reads ‘Free House’. The legend on the gable end reads as for the first floor legend over the entrance plus – GARAGE, Good Accommodation for Motors and Parties Catered For.
