Floods by Three Fyshes, Turvey, c. late 19th century
Black and white photograph taken at waist or eye level from left pavement running up to Turvey Bridge, showing floods along Bridge Street. On right of road, three men are standing on chairs outside and into the road adjacent to the entrance to Ye Three Fyshes Inn. The floor water is above half way up the legs of the chairs. The inn sign above the entrance is not visible due to bright sunshine bleaching out the image.
