A description of the tomb of Lord Peterborough’s daughter, buried in the Gordon Chapel in Elgin Cathedral.
Sacred to the memory of Her Grace, Henrietta, Duchess of Gordon, only daughter of Charles Mordaunt, Earl of Peterborough and Monmouth, who conquered Spain. Born April 3rd 1682, married 1706, Alexander, Marquis of Huntley, afterwards Duke of Gordon, to whom she bore five sons and seven daughters. She died at Preston Hall, 11th October 1760
