The Collins' Fleet on Turvey Bridge
The vehicles on the bridge are all Bedford Trucks – Bedford (the manufacturer) was formed by Vauxhall in 1931. The smaller of the two cars (furthest from the camera) is an Austen Seven “Chummy” , the car was probably produced in 1928 or 1929. There were some bodywork changes introduced in 1930 and this is not one of those later cars. The larger car is an Austin 16/6 Berkeley Saloon – circa 1933
