The booklet is a chronological lineage of the Mordaunt family in Turvey from Osbert Le Mordaunt , a Norman knight who fought under William The Conqueror in 1066 to Sir Lewis Mordaunt, Lord Baron of Turvey who died in 1601.
The following Mordaunts are covered in this work: Osbert Le, Osmund Le, Eustace Le, William, William De, Robert, Edmund De, Robert, William, Sir John (Knight), Sir John (Lord Baron of Turvey and privy councillor to King Henry VIII) Sir John, Lord Baron of Turvey and privy councillor to Queen Mary) and Sir Lewis (Lord Baron of Turvey).
The work also includes sketches of the Mordaunt Tombs to be found in All Saints Church Turvey together with their inscriptions. Also drawn is the Mordaunt seal of the Barony of Turvey.
