Pauline Cameron Collection
Pauline Cameron is the daughter of Len Savage ( 1921 -2009), Churchwarden and builder who was a well respected and prominent figure in Turvey. The collection consists of two booklets written by Len,’Memories of a Turvey Childhood Between the Wars’ and ‘My War Years and Return to Turvey’.
The collection also contains family photographs, many of which are of the village and the people who lived here. Finally, the collection contains the scrapbook of a former Rector, the Rev. Beech and memories of Turvey residents from 1900 to 1980 taken at the time of the Turvey Appraisal exercise of 1980.
