A rare photograph showing the last thatched cottages in Turvey on Bridge Street. The cottages were owned by William Bamford who managed the Gas Works on the opposite side of Bridge Street. The dilapidated cottages were demolished in the 1930’s. The cottages stood on what is now Ye Three Fyshes car park.
