People of the Village of Turvey
From the Mercury & Herald. Article “People of the Village of Turvey” which makes reference to Turvey’s five pubs, the ancient mill, The Tinker of Turvey, Jonah. attempts to create a conservation area in the village, Charles Longuet Higgins’ attempts to save foxes, a suggestion that David Livingstone visited the Manse, Mrs Allen’s 40 year period as a Parish Councillor, All Saint’s Church, traffic and how the village was rebuilt with local stone.
