The Three Fishes
From the left of the picture is Alyncote, No 8 Bridge Street, then the entrance to Mill Lane and finally The Three Fishes.
Bradford Rudge (1813-1885) was born in Coventry and in 1837 moved to Bedford where he became the first Drawing Master at the Harpur School.
The Higgins, Bedford reference is BEDFM 157.29 with the title “Three Fishes Public House, Turvey, Bedfordshire”.
