Norfolk House Turvey
Norfolk House with Gentleman and two ladies with a further lady with a cycle and dog. The image shows the gates that were in place to the road now known as Bamfords Lane. Could the people in the picture be Mr & Mrs Bamford and their housekeeper.?

Thank you Emma for this information. What was your great grandfather’s name? That is a puzzle as on the 1901 census William George Bamford, his wife, a step-daughter and a step-niece are also recorded as living at Norfolk House! Are you sure it was the 1901 census?
Kind regards,

My great grandfather is listed as living at Norfolk House in Turvey on the 1901 census. It seems only he lived there. He was an ‘Agricultural Baliff’.
