Bedford Borough Council Collection

This collection consists of the records compiled by the Planning Department of Bedford Borough Council relating to Turvey’s listed buildings and the information on Turvey held in the Historical Environmental Record.

In addition to listed buildings the collection includes buildings that have a particular heritage significance, important buildings that have been demolished, monuments and parkland of significance,  the locations of archeological finds and where the find is now stored and, finally, crop marks which are indications of areas that may be of significant archeological interest.

The Collection also contains old maps from the Bedfordshire Archive Service who have given permission to Turvey History Society for them to be published.
